Into Dance is an international collaboration between Great Britain, Belgium and Sweden. The partners in each country are SeaChange Arts and Norfolk Dance in Great Britain, Platform-K in Belgium and Vänersborg Municipality, Dance Company Spinn and Kultur i Väst in Sweden.
Into Dance aims to create an international platform for creative meetings, new dance work and professional development for learners and staff from different experiences and backgrounds. Into Dance has offered an opportunity for learners from all three countries to get involved with dance, devising new work and participating in creative, collaborative events in Belgium, Sweden and Great Britain.
Taking place over two years and across three countries this programme has offered three creative labs in which participants, with and without disabilities have met and created work together, led by professional dance artists from all three countries. By the end of the work period artistic pieces have been put together and performed to the public.
The project is funded by the Grundtvig Programme which supports training opportunities for adult education organisations, staff and learners.
